Sync-N-Link X

“AutoSync” for Final Cut Pro:
Batch sync dual-system sound using  jam-synced SMPTE/EBU timecode

Last year without Sync-N-Link it would take me about a day to sync and log a weeks worth of shooting.

This year the exact same job takes me (no exaggeration) about 1 minute. PLUS, the audio track info is converted into
audio component names AND Roles tags

How to Create Dailies with Shot Notes X and Sync-N-Link X

Fantastic, worth-every-penny piece of software. This literally cuts down pre-editing work to mere seconds. There’s no reason to manually sync audio/video clips any other way, unless you’re only doing a few takes.   I was dreading synching all the clips for a feature I was editing, and a friend told me about this, and it took me something like 2 minutes to sync the entire movie’s footage!

Sync-N-Link requires a bit more in terms of specific gear on the production side, but its benefits can be massive.

Great product. I used this after shooting double-system sound for a short film. Worked flawlessly in just seconds, and literally save scores, if not over a hundred hours of work.

Worth every penny.
