The Troubleshooter for Final Cut Pro 3
New Technology and completely new software algorithms pack human Troubleshooting 'smarts' into State of the Art software.
Los Angeles, October 22, 2002
Intelligent Assistance will ship The Troubleshooter, an innovative and technologically advanced approach to Troubleshooting with a content package for Apple's award-winning Final Cut Pro on October 23. The Troubleshooter is a breakthrough in price and functionality based on entirely new software algorithms that put an infinitely patient "Geek in a Box" for Final Cut Pro users to help them get their system performing as it should.
The Troubleshooter is the first software system that works the way a human troubleshooting expert works - by asking the right questions. The Troubleshooter requires no technical expertise, relying on simple checkbox or radio button entries. Based on the answers given The Troubleshooter presents likely solutions and asks further clarifying questions. The solutions list becomes shorter and more likely to solve the problem. Behind the scenes, The Troubleshooter algorithm is progressively ruling out less likely solutions and showing the most probable solutions in bold while displaying a unique "Confidence Factor" for the solutions presented.
"As we've developed Intelligent Assistance, we could never find a truly satisfactory solution for Troubleshooting until now," says Philip Hodgetts, President and CEO of Intelligent Assistance, Inc. "The Troubleshooter is our third approach, and to do it we had to go back to square one and start over with what we wanted it to do: solve people's problems with the minimum of delay."
The Troubleshooter is the result after three years of searching for an approach that got users back being productive again without the need to comprehensively describe the problem! "We had to find an effective way to apply computing power to troubleshooting logic. This is a tool for telling the machine what you see, and letting it do the work of finding the solution," says Charlie Byers, Head of Technical Development for Intelligent Assistance and the developer of The Troubleshooter algorithm.
The Troubleshooter provides an improved alternative to the "free" support available in online forums and user groups, which lacks quality assurance, and dealer or manufacturer support at higher price points. Once installed, The Troubleshooter downloads the most up to date Troubleshooter content for the supported software. As new issues arise, solutions are added to The Troubleshooter and users get access to them through an Internet connection until the next major upgrade of the software.
The Troubleshooter for Final Cut Pro is the first in the series of Troubleshooter products that will get users up and running again whatever their software or platform. The Troubleshooter for Final Cut Pro will start shipping for Mac OS X and Mac OS 9 on October 23rd, 2002. It will be available online from IntelligentAssistance.com, by calling 877 833 2580. Dealer enquiries are encouraged.
"When Trouble rides into town, you'll be glad The Troubleshooter is on your side!"
